That question wouldn't let go. For months, We kept thinking about all the believers he knew who were living authentic faith but couldn't find anything that represented who they really were.
Jesus is My Homeboy™ wasn't born in a boardroom or a design studio. It was born in at 2 AM, sketching designs in my notebook while listening to worship music. It was birthed through conversations with family and friends who were tired of choosing between representing their faith and representing themselves.
The first design was simple: "Jesus is My Homeboy" in bold letters that didn't apologize for taking up space. Clean. Confident. Real.
But it was more than a graphic tee. It was a declaration:
- My faith doesn't hide in buildings
- My relationship with God is personal and powerful
- I don't need permission to love Jesus out loud
